You can import phone data from a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card to the contact list on your BlackBerry® smartphone.

To import a single contact, complete the following steps:

1. On the BlackBerry smartphone Home screen, open Contacts.
2. Display the menu and select SIM Phone Book. The SIM phone book is loaded.
3. Select the contact you want to import, then select Add to Contacts.
4. In the New Address screen, type any additional information.

To import all contacts, complete the following steps:

1. On the BlackBerry smartphone Home screen, click Contacts.
2. Display the menu and select SIM Phone Book. The SIM phone book is loaded.
3. Display the menu and select Copy All To Contacts.
4. Go back to the contact list and make sure all of the entries are displayed.

Note: Contacts in the contact list can be saved to the SIM card individually. You cannot import data from the contact list to the SIM card.

If you access the contact list and it is blank, press the Menu key and navigate to Filter. Clear any filters that are selected.
