The following table contains errors that may be displayed on the BlackBerry® smartphone when trying to log in to the BlackBerry® Enterprise Messenger client. This table will also match to the writeLoginResponse result codes found in the BlackBerry Enterprise server logs.

| 111 | Duplicate contact ID |

| 113 | Cannot add yourself |
| 120 | Contact limit exceeded |
| 121 | Invalid group name |
| 122 | Duplicate group |
| 123 | Group limit exceeded |
| 300 | Internal server error |
| 301 | Feature not supported |
| 302 | Cannot connect |
| 303 | Server logout |
| 304 | Login failed |
| 312 | BlackBerry Collaboration Service is shut down |
| 313 | Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) transaction timeout |
| 314 | Invalid certificate |
| 315 | TCP failed or signing in to SIP Communications Service failed because the service is temporarily unavailable. |
| 316 | TLS failed. An HTTPS or TCP connection could not be made. |
| 317 | Time skew/authentication failure because of a time skew between client and server. |
| Unable to contact server. Please contact your IT administrator if the problem persists. | The BlackBerry Collaboration Service is not started. The BlackBerry Connection and Collaboration Service is not enabled for the BlackBerry device user under Service Access in BlackBerry Manager. Incorrect BlackBerry device application for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server setup. |
