The Windows® Installer service is disabled.
Complete the following steps to turn on the Windows Installer Service:
- Got to Start > Run.
- Type services.msc, and then click OK.
- Double-click the Windows service named Windows Installer.
- Verify the value in the Startup type field.
- If the value is set to Disabled, change it to Manual by selecting the option from the drop-down box.
