How to install themes downloaded from BlackBerry App World

For BlackBerry® Device Software versions 4.2.0 through 4.7.1, complete the following steps to change between themes:

  1. After downloading the theme from BlackBerry App World™, exit App World and go to Options from the homescreen of the BlackBerry® smartphone.
  2. Scroll to Theme.
  3. Click the desired theme to activate it.

For BlackBerry Device Software version 5.0, complete the following steps to activate the downloaded theme:

  1. After downloading the theme from BlackBerry App World, a dialog box will be presented to activate the theme.
  2. Click Yes to start using it.
  • Note: If you click No, complete steps 1-3 aboveto change your active theme.
For BlackBerry Device Software version 6.0, complete the following steps to activate the downloaded theme:
  1. After downloading the theme from BlackBerry App World, a dialog box will be presented to activate the theme.
  2. Click Yes to start using it.
  • Note: If you click No, the theme can be activated after by completing the following:
    1. Go into Options -> Display -> Screen Display.
    2. Scroll down to the Theme section, click the theme, then click Activate.
