BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express 5.0 SP1 includes a single default IT policy. After installing BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express, the IT policy rules in the default IT policy do not contain any values. You can configure and apply the default IT policy to user accounts, or you can create new IT policies and assign these new IT policies to user accounts to control the BlackBerry smartphones in your organization's environment. The following are several examples of IT policy settings:
A basic password security IT policy:
