Unable to receive Browser icon or service books on the BlackBerry smartphone due to an IT policy

Service books for the BlackBerry Internet Browsing Service (BIBS) are not being received on the BlackBerry smartphone. However, service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service are being received.


The BlackBerry smartphone may have an IT policy preventing some service books from being accepted.


Contact the BlackBerry Enterprise Server administrator and request that a blank IT policy be sent from the original BlackBerry Enterprise Server to the BlackBerry smartphone.
