Unable to browse to web sites when using the Mobile Data Service or Mobile Data Connection Service

The BlackBerry smartphone user is unable to browse to any web sites using the BlackBerry Mobile Data Service or BlackBerry MDS Services.

CollapseCause

The Pull Authorization, through which a system administrator can allow or block access to web sites based on roles defined in the Access Control List, has been turned on on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. However, no roles have been configured. By default, access is denied to all web sites unless otherwise specified by the roles configuration.

CollapseResolution

The system administrator of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server can configure roles to allow for browsing to the specified web sites, or disable the Pull Authorization from the BlackBerry Mobile Data Service or BlackBerry MDS Services.

Once that has been completed, restart the BlackBerry Mobile Data Service or BlackBerry MDS Services.
