The following error message appears when BlackBerry smartphone users attempt to browse web pages on the BlackBerry smartphone:

The selected server returned an error when attempting to fulfill your request.

CollapseCause

The files from the following classpath folder are missing: C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\MDS\classpath.

The number of files in the classpath folder vary, depending on the version of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Verify the correct number of files for the version of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server that you are using.

CollapseResolution

Complete the following resolution steps:

  1. Replace the classpath folder with a folder from a working BlackBerry Enterprise Server of the same version.
  2. Re-install the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. For more information, see KB04200.
