Managing call transferring on BlackBerry Mobile Voice System Console

The BlackBerry MVS administrator can permit BlackBerry MVS users to transfer calls from their work phone numbers to a desk phone number or mobile phone number on their BlackBerry smartphones. There also is an option to permit BlackBerry MVS users to change a designated transfer number, such as their desk phone number or mobile phone number. A designated number to transfer calls to can be permitted for BlackBerry MVS users, such as a desk phone number or mobile phone number.

When the class of service is changed, BlackBerry MVS updates the affected BlackBerry MVS user accounts and BlackBerry smartphones.

To permit BlackBerry MVS users to transfer calls, complete the following actions:

  1. In the left pane of the BlackBerry MVS Console, click Class Of Service.
  2. Click a class of service.
  3. On the General tab, select the User can transfer a call check box.
  4. Click Submit.

To permit a BlackBerry MVS user to change a designated transfer number, complete the following actions:

  1. In the left pane of the BlackBerry MVS Console, click Class Of Service.
  2. Click a class of service.
  3. To permit BlackBerry MVS users to move calls to their desk phone numbers, select the User can move a call to the Desk Number check box.
  4. To permit BlackBerry MVS users to move calls to their mobile phone numbers, select the User can move a call to the Mobile Network Number check box.
  5. Click Submit.
