Downloaded application or theme cannot be found on the BlackBerry smartphone but shows as installed in the applications list

After installing an application or theme to the BlackBerry smartphone, it does not show anywhere except for the applications list under advanced options.

The BlackBerry smartphone has not been rebooted since the application or theme was installed to the BlackBerry smartphone.

There are two ways to reboot the BlackBerry smartphone.

Note: Neither of these methods will involve any data loss. These are methods of rebooting the BlackBerry smartphone.

  1. To perform a soft-reset on the BlackBerry smartphone, hold the altcap/aA and del keys at the same time until the screen goes black.
  2. To perform a hard-reset on the BlackBerry smartphone remove the back cover and remove the battery from the BlackBerry smartphone. Once the battery has been removed it can be inserted again.

When the BlackBerry smartphone turns back on, the application or theme that was downloaded and installed should now appear on the BlackBerry smartphone.
