A Bluetooth device, such as a headset or car kit, is paired with the BlackBerry smartphone. The BlackBerry smartphone prompts to connect to the paired Bluetooth device every time the BlackBerry smartphone detects it.

CollapseCause

The Bluetooth device that is paired is not set as a trusted connection in the device properties.

CollapseResolution
1. From the BlackBerry smartphone home screen, select the Options icon.
2. Select Bluetooth.
3. Highlight the Bluetooth paired device in the list that is experiencing this issue and press the Menu key.
4. Select Device Properties.
5. Set Trusted to Yes.

Note: If the Bluetooth connection is untrusted, it can prevent the address book synchronization from functioning on some vehicles.
