After a failed enterprise activation attempt, the following warning is displayed in the Event Log Viewer application logs on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server:

Description:
The description for Event ID ( 20000 ) in Source ( BlackBerry Dispatcher EXAMPLE) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: {EXAMPLE} Old OTAKEYGEN packet is cancelled.
CollapseCause

This issue may be caused by one of the following:

  1. The BlackBerry® Desktop Redirector is running on the computer of the BlackBerry smartphone user
  2. Forwarding has been setup for the mailbox which is attempting to activate

Cause 1
The BlackBerry Desktop Redirector is running on the computer of the BlackBerry smartphone user
 
Resolution 1
Disable or remove the BlackBerry Desktop Redirector.
 
 
Cause 2
Forwarding has been setup for the mailbox which is attempting to activate
 
Resolution 2
