The BlackBerry smartphone stops responding and one of the following error messages appears:
- Reload software: 552
- App Error 552
Complete the following:
- Ensure the smartphone is running the latest version of BlackBerry Device Software (see KB16068).
- If the smartphone is already running the latest version of BlackBerry Device Software, perform a hard reset by removing the battery from the smartphone and reinserting it (see KB02141).
- If the issue persists, reload the BlackBerry Device Software (see KB10144).
