- BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System 4.6 for Cisco® Unified Communications Manager 6.1
- BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System 5.0
- BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System 5.1 SP1
Move to Desk function fails for BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System (MVS) smartphone when attempting to move an active call from the BlackBerry® MVS smartphone to the desk phone that is associated with the MVS extension.
The BlackBerry® smartphone may route as follows when the Move to Desk function is initiated:
- Redirect to a preconfigured voice mail if the desk phone is unavailable or busy.
- Forward to another telephone number or extension.
The Busy Trigger for the associated non-BlackBerry® MVS desk phone or communicator in the Cisco® Unified Communications Manager (UCM) is set to the default value of 2.
Set the Busy Trigger for the associated non-BlackBerry® MVS desk phone or communicator in the Cisco® UCM to a value of more than 2.
It is recommended that the local telecommunications department is contacted to change the Busy Trigger. If this is not immediately possible, instead of using Move to Desk while on a BlackBerry MVS call, the One-Time Number function may work. This allows the call to be moved to another number in the contact list, or another number manually dialed on the smartphone.
