Unable to application load a BlackBerry smartphone showing "JVM 507" or "JVM 513" using BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac

If a JVM 507 or JVM 513 error appears on the BlackBerry® smartphone, connection to the BlackBerry® Desktop Software on a Mac computer might take up to 10 minutes.

Once the BlackBerry smartphone is connected, in the bottom left corner of the BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac, the message Connecting will appear. Ensure the BlackBerry smartphone stays connected and after a number of minutes, the BlackBerry smartphone will display an hour glass followed by a prompt in the BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac to Repair.  Choose Repair and follow the subsequent prompts.
