BlackBerry® smartphone users who access BlackBerry App World™ storefront on a Wi-Fi® connection will be able to set up billing through their wireless service provider as a payment option, if available. When the user attempts to make a purchase, the following error appears:

In order to use carrier billing as a payment method, the WAP2 service book is required.

To confirm if the WAP2 service book is on the BlackBerry smartphone, refer to KB11540. If the WAP2 service book is not listed on the device, refer to KB05517 for information on obtaining this.

Once the WAP2 service book is confirmed, install the latest version of the BlackBerry App World client by visiting http://www.blackberry.com/appworld/download from a PC or the BlackBerry smartphone.
