"Uncaught exception: ApplicationRegistry.waitFor(0x9850447e783b0596) timeout" appears when the BlackBerry 8350i smartphone starts up

Upon restarting the BlackBerry® Curve™ 8350i smartphone, the following error is displayed:

The issue occures when the MemoPad and Tasks applications are not found on the BlackBerry smartphone.
CollapseResolution
This is a previously reported issue that is being investigated by our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.
CollapseWorkaround
To workaround the issue, the MemoPad and Tasks applications will need to be reinstalled onto the BlackBerry smartphone.
