- BlackBerry PlayBook tablet
The BlackBerry PlayBook tablet supports the use of a wireless mouse and keyboard. It utilizes Bluetooth functionality and connects in a similar fashion as a Windows or Mac OS computer.
To pair a wireless keyboard, complete the following steps:
- On the tablet, click the gear icon on the top-right corner or swipe down from the top bezel to display the Settings menu.
- Select Bluetooth.
- Ensure Bluetooth Connectivity is set to On.
- Select Add New Device.
- Select Search.
- Select the wireless keyboard from the search list.
- Enter the passkey for the wireless keyboard (This is usually 0000 but consult the wireless keyboard instruction manual for the correct passkey).
- Once the wireless keyboard is found under the Pair Devices section with a green double arrow, this indicates the device is connected and ready for use.
Note: To pair the BlackBerry mini keyboard with a BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, press and hold the Ctrl key while turning on the keyboard. Release the Ctrl key when the LED flashes blue and red. This puts the mini keyboard into pairing mode. When the keyboard and the tablet are paired, the LED on the keyboard flashes blue.
