Unable to access the Email Settings application on a BlackBerry smartphone after performing a device software update

After performing a software update on the BlackBerry® smartphone the device will go to a blank screen when accessing the Email Accounts setting
This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated internally to our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available. Please see the following workaround below.

Reload the handheld software on the BlackBerry smartphone.
