Seller features are not available when using eBay 2.0 for BlackBerry smartphones

When using eBay® 2.0 for BlackBerry® smartphones, seller features in the application may not function or time out while attempting to use a feature.

Cause 1:

User is not using a United States or United Kingdom eBay account.


Cause 2:

The incorrect default county was selected during setup or changed after setup.

Resolution 1:

The seller features are only available for users in the United States or United Kingdom. This is by design.


Resolution 2:

Please ensure the default country is set correctly. To change the default country, on the BlackBerry smartphone:

  1. Open eBay 2.0 for BlackBerry smartphones
  2. Press the Menu button
  3. Select Options
  4. Under Preferred Site, select United States or United Kingdom if appropriate
  5. Press the Menu button
  6. Select Save
