Enterprise Activation of a PlayBook tablet fails when using Microsoft Windows XP or Windows Server 2003

When attempting to activate a BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet using BlackBerry® Web Desktop Manager or BlackBerry Administration Service Web Console on a PC that runs Microsoft® Windows® XP or Microsoft Windows Server® 2003, the activation fails.
These versions of Windows do not support the strong hashing algorithms required to handle the certificate that is used as part of the secure SSL/TLS communications during activation.
