When a Convenience Key set to BlackBerry Messenger,  Voice Notes Push To Talk is enabled.

To use Voice Notes Push To Talk follow these steps:

  1. Go into Option on the BlackBerry smartphone
  2. Select Convenience Key
  3. Set Convenience Key Opens: to BlackBerry Messenger. 
  4. Save the changes and exit Options
  5. Launch BlackBerry Messenger
  6. Click on a BlackBerry Messenger contact
  7. Press the Convenience Key
  8. Record the Voice Note
  9. Press the Convenience Key again to stop recording and send the message
CollapseAdditional Information
For quick access to sending Voice Notes in BlackBerry Messenger to a specific contact, exit the chat window using alt+back key and choose the home screen. When clicking the Convenience Key from the home screen it will launch BlackBerry Messenger and display the last active chat window.
