When accessing Twitter for BlackBerry Smartphone and BlackBerry Enterprise Server is configured to force all traffic through BlackBerry Mobile Data System Connection System.
Error message when failing is The request is understood, but it has been refused.

To uncheck this using BlackBerry Device Software 7.0
- Go to options
- Next Select Security
- Next Select Advanced Security Settings
- Finally Select TLS
- Scroll down to the heading Proxy TLS and untick the check box.
