After completing an Enterprise Activation the BlackBerry smartphone reboots to blank white screen

After completing an Enterprise Activation on a BlackBerry smartphone the device reboots to either a blank white screen or a white screen with tiny icons.
This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated internally to our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.

Prior to performing the steps listed below perform a full backup the BlackBerry smartphone by following KB12487

  1. Reset the BlackBerry smartphone to factory settings KB18998.
  2. Delete the affected user account including its wireless backup from the BlackBerry Enterprise Server KB11638.
  3. Activate the BlackBerry smartphone on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
