  • BlackBerry 10
CollapseOverview
Though most contacts appear within the Contacts application of the BlackBerry smartphone, some contacts do not display. In this situation another contact, with the same or similar name as the contact that does not display, is visible within the contacts application.
CollapseCause
Though the BlackBerry 10 software searches within the Contacts application and links individuals who may be the same person added through different accounts, the Contacts application has incorrectly recognized these contacts as being the same individual.
CollapseResolution

Open the contact that has the same or similar name as the contact that is missing within the Contacts application and unlink the contacts. To unlink the contacts, please complete the following steps:

  1. Open one of the contacts within the Contacts application by tapping on the entry.
  2. Tap on the Links icon.
  3. Find the contact that was missing and tap the Unlink button
  4. Tap on the Save button.
