Unable to accept the BlackBerry Solution License Agreement during out of box setup

The out-of-box setup on the BlackBerry 10 smartphone is stuck on the Agreement page. It is possible to click on the View Warranty Information link, but the I Agree button is disabled (grey).

This issue happens due to the following reasons:

Cause 1

The BlackBerry device is in an area with poor mobile network coverage.

Cause 2

There is connection to an internal Wi-Fi network only and direct access to Internet is not allowed.

Complete the applicable resolution below:

Cause 1

The BlackBerry device is in an area with poor mobile network coverage.

Resolution 1

Move the BlackBerry smartphone to an area with good mobile network coverage.

 
Cause 2

There is connection to an internal Wi-Fi network only and direct access to Internet is not allowed.

Resolution 2

Switch to a different Wi-Fi network on the BlackBerry smartphone by completing the following steps:

  1. Swipe to the right.
  2. Tap Disconnect.
  3. Select or add another Wi-Fi network.
