CollapseWorkaround

Workaround 1

As the Licensing Service is included with the BlackBerry Enterprise Service UI components, it is possible to install these UI components on a remote server which has a single network interface care. Once this is done, BlackBerry Management Studio can be re-configured to utilise the Licensing Service on the remote server.

Refer to KB34147 for instructions on how to perform the re-configuration of BlackBerry Management Studio.

Workaround 2

Disable NIC Teaming so there is only one MAC address and restart the BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 - BlackBerry Licensing Service.

CollapseAdditional Information

One support instance that experienced this issue had three Network Interfaces listed, 2 physical and 1 virtual. By disabling the virtual network switch for Hyper-V, this removed the virtual interace, and then only the remaining 2 physical interfaces were displayed. Afterwards, the BlackBerry Management Studio was able to see a Host Id and then properly establish a connection to BlackBerry's licensing infrastructure.
