The BlackBerry Q5 smartphone displays one of the following error messages:
- SIM card not detected
- SIM card has malfunctioned
- SIM card error
The SIM may have been inserted incorrectly into the BlackBerry Q5 smartphone.
Note: Inserting the SIM incorrectly could cause damage to the smartphone.
