"Could not load BlackBerry App World" banner message is displayed in Google Chrome for Mac when accessing the BlackBerry World website

When browsing the BlackBerry World website using Google Chrome on a Mac computer, a banner may be displayed underneath the address bar indicating:

Could not load BlackBerry AppWorld.

CollapseCause

This error is thrown occasionally because of how the BlackBerry World browser plugins are launched by Google Chrome for Mac. The banner should not interfere with the use of the BlackBerry World website or affect the use of BlackBerry 10 smartphones. The BlackBerry World browser plugins can be uninstalled if needed.

No action is required. The website should be accessible without issue.

If intending to use the BlackBerry World website to load an app via USB to a BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry 7.1 or earlier, note that only Windows Internet Explorer is supported.
