Unable to find new iOS device or Android device software versions when setting Permitted devices on Activation Defaults

During the configuration of Permitted devices under the Universal Device Service Administration Console setting for Activation Defaults, recent iOS or Android versions cannot be found in the list. Furthermore, if iOS unknown/iOS other or Android OS other/unknown or All is not chosen, newer device versions are unable to activate to the BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 with the following error in the CORE logs:

WARN,"2013-10-11 10:42:58,002",20,0,"a7580d84-2c2d-4280-b25c-fd3b7d44a22f","User CheckActivation : The device activation with OS id '2' is not allowed."

CollapseCause
Data for new device versions does not exist in the Management database.
CollapseResolution
This is a previously reported issue that is being investigated by our development team. A resolution is currently unavailable.
CollapseWorkaround
If permitting certain devices by versions is absolutely necessary, contact BlackBerry Technical Support Services for a workaround.
