The Enterprise Activation icon does not appear on the Home screen of the BlackBerry® smartphone and there is no Enterprise Activation option in the Options menu.
Please see the below checklist if the Enterprise Activation is not present on the BlackBerry smartphone
1) Verify that the BlackBerry Device Software is version 4.0 or greater
If not, please upgrade to BlackBerry Device Software 4.0 to 4.5. For instructions, see KB03621
2) Confirm that the Enterprise Activation icon is not hidden
Verify that the icon is not hidden on the Home screen by selecting the Show All option from the menu
3) Ensure that the BlackBerry smartphone is registered on the wireless network
Perform a hard reset of the BlackBerry smartphone. For instructions, please see KB02141
Perform a Register Now function. For instructions, see KB00510
4) Check to see if the BlackBerry smartphone has already been activated
By default, after the BlackBerry smartphone is activated over the wireless network, the Enterprise Activation icon does not appear on the Home screen
- Click the Options icon on the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone
- Click Advanced Options
- Click Enterprise Activation and confirm Enterprise Activation date exists
5) The service book on the BlackBerry smartphone contains incorrect data
If the Enterprise Activation icon is missing from the Home screen, as well as from options -> advanced options, delete all Desktop service book entries in options -> advanced options -> service book, and re-send service books to the BlackBerry smartphone
6) Ensure that the BlackBerry smartphone has the BlackBerry Enterprise Server service class
