To ensure that any anti-virus software does not restrict or hinder processes related to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, please ensure the following are added to the exclusion list:

If anti-virus software is scanning the C:\Program Files (x86)\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\Logs directory, the log files can become locked. If the files are locked when BlackBerry Enterprise Server services are attempting to update these files, the updates may not be successful. Additional updates to the log files may also stop until the BlackBerry Enterprise Server services are restarted.

Enabling exclusions of the .txt and .csv files in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\Logs directory will prevent any problems.
