The following applications are supported for synchronization with BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.1:

  • IBM Lotus Notes 6.5, 7, 8, and 8.5
  • Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010 (32-bit & 64-bit modes)
  • Microsoft Outlook Express
  • Windows Calendar (Windows Vista)
  • Windows Contacts (Windows Vista, Windows 7)

The following applications are supported for synchronization with BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.0:

  • IBM Lotus Notes 6.5, 7, 8, and 8.5
  • Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2010 (32-bit & 64-bit modes)
  • Microsoft Outlook Express
  • Windows Calendar (Windows Vista)
  • Windows Contacts (Windows Vista, Windows 7)

  • IBM Lotus Notes 6.5.5, 7.04, 8.0.3, and 8.5.1

  • Windows Contacts (Windows Vista, Windows 7)

  • Novell GroupWise 6.5, 7

  • .CSV files via ASCII Importer/Exporter

The following applications are not supported for synchronization with BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.5 to 6.1:

  • IBM Lotus Notes 5 and 5.5
  • IBM Lotus Organizer (all versions)
  • Microsoft Outlook 97, 98, and 2000
  • Microsoft Outlook Express 5
  • Novell GroupWise 6.0
  • Sage ACT! (all versions)

Microsoft Outlook 2002 (Outlook XP) cannot sync with BlackBerry Desktop Software 6.0.1.

The latest versions of BlackBerry Desktop Software and BlackBerry Device Software are designed to improve the experience with the BlackBerry Solution and can be downloaded from http://www.blackberry.com by clicking Software in the top row. This page will contain the ability to choose Device software and Desktop Software.
