To make the BlackBerry® Web Desktop Manager available to BlackBerry smartphone users, complete the following steps:
- Distribute credentials to BlackBerry smartphone users.
Note: To log in to BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager, BlackBerry smartphone users must use the credentials from the messaging environment. The BlackBerry smartphone user must also have a BlackBerry account located on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. The BlackBerry smartphones do not need to be activated to make a successful connection.
Additional Note: BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager requires at minimum, BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP1 to support BlackBerry user accounts in a Microsoft® Resource Forest with disabled Microsoft® Active Directory® accounts linked to Microsoft® Exchange mailboxes.

Distribute the BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager web page address to BlackBerry smartphone users. Without customization, the form for the web page address is:
https://<Net bios name of the computer where Web Desktop Manager is Installed>/webdesktop/login
With customization, the form for the web page address is:
https://<Net bios name of the computer where Web Desktop Manager is Installed>/webdesktop/
