Restore BlackBerry device data using BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager

To restore all BlackBerry device data using BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager, complete the following steps:

  1. Connect your BlackBerry device to your computer.
  2. On the Backup and Restore tab in BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager, click Restore.
  3. Double-click a backup (.ipd) file to restore all the BlackBerry device data.

To restore specific BlackBerry device data from a backup file using BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager, complete the following steps:

  1. Connect your BlackBerry device to your computer.
  2. On the Backup and Restore tab in BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager, click Advanced.
  3. On the File menu, click Open.
  4. Double-click a backup (.ipd) file.
  5. In the Desktop File Databases section, click a database.
  6. Click the Right Arrow icon to restore specified BlackBerry device data from a backup file.
