CollapseOverview
When synchronizing contacts over the wireless network, not all contacts are synchronized to the BlackBerry® smartphone.
CollapseCause
There is a default of 8K (approximately 8,000 records) when synchronizing contacts over the wireless network.
CollapseResolution

Perform one of the following two steps:

  1. Reduce the number of contacts synchronizing over the wireless network to less than 8K.
  2. Perform a wired synchronization which allows for 32K (approximately 32,000 records).
CollapseAdditional Information
The maximum number of contacts of 8000 does not apply to BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP3 for Microsoft Exchange or BlackBerry Internet Service users when using certain email accounts. For more information please see KB22430 when using Yahoo! Mail, MSN, Alt-N, and Google Mail.
