- BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System (BlackBerry MVS) 5.0
- BlackBerry MVS 5.0 Server Bundle 24 Client Bundle 15

In some cases, the BlackBerry smartphone user's Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card is programmed with a plus sign in front of the mobile number (for example, +1 xxx-xxx-xxxx). Earlier versions of BlackBerry MVS 5.0 were unaffected, but in BlackBerry MVS 5.0 Server Bundle 24 Client Bundle 15 , the plus sign causes calls to not complete.
The BlackBerry MVS Server cannot place a call with the + in front of the mobile number.
This is a previously reported issue that is being investigated by our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.
Remove the + from the mobile number by navigating to Phone Options > General Settings > Mobile Number.
