On the BlackBerry® smartphone, wireless synchronization for the calendar is set to No in Calendar > Options > Desktop and the setting cannot be changed to Yes.
Step 1 - An IT policy has been assigned that has Disable Calendar Wireless Synchronization set to True under the PIM Synchronization Policy Group.
Change the IT policy to one that has Disable Calendar Wireless Synchronization set to False or is Null.

Step 2 - The Desktop [CICAL] service book is missing from Options > Advanced Options > Service Book.
Re-send the service books.

Cause 3 - The Desktop [CICAL] service book is corrupted.
Delete and undelete the Desktop [CICAL] service book from the BlackBerry smartphone.
- Go to Options > Advanced Options > Service Book.
- Select the Desktop [CICAL] service book.
- Click Menu > Delete.
- Resend the service books to the user from the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server.
