After sending an email message from the BlackBerry® smartphone, the message does not send and a red X appears in the message list.
Scrolling to the top of the failed sent message on the BlackBerry smartphone, the Message Status field displays the following error:
Your mail file exceeds or would exceed the quota size limit specified by the Administrator.
The Microsoft Exchange mailbox for the BlackBerry smartphone user is full.
- Increase the BlackBerry smartphone user's Microsoft Exchange mailbox storage limit.
- Increase the available space of the BlackBerry smartphone user's Microsoft Exchange mailbox by deleting old, unnecessary emails or archiving email messages to a .pst file.
