When logging into Google Talk for BlackBerry smartphones, entering the correct username and password causes the login to fail, stating the Username and password do not match.
The user account is under the googlemail.com domain. All usernames that are entered when signing into Google Talk for BlackBerry smartphones are assumed to be under the gmail.com domain and not under the googlemail.com domain.
This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated internally to our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.
When using a username under the googlemail.com domain, it is required to enter the complete username and domain when logging in.
Example:
For an email address such as username@googlemail.com, log into Google Talk using the following information:Username: username@googlemail.com
Password: email account password
For an email address such as username@gmail.com, log into Google Talk with the following information:
Username: usernamePassword: email account password
