While refreshing your list of messages or performing a search inside Twitter® for BlackBerry® smartphones,  the following error may occur.

You have been rate limited. Enhance your calm.
CollapseCause
Twitter has reached its maximum API requests for this account at this time.
CollapseResolution
Wait for the API count to go down, this can take up to 60 minutes to take effect as long as no application is refreshing Twitter information for the account.
CollapseWorkaround
Close any 3rd party applications that may be refreshing the Twitter account for affected user to bring the API count down.
CollapseAdditional Information
This error message can be experienced on both the BlackBerry Smartphone Twitter application and the Desktop Client application. This is not a BlackBerry smartphone specific error.
