How to create a new user with the Manager role and assign that user groups to manage

To create a new user with the Manager role and assign that user groups to manage, please follow these steps:

Create a new user with the Manager role:

  1. Log on to the BlackBerry® Pushcast Console using an administrator account.
  2. Click Administration on the menu bar at the top of the page.
  3. Click Users on the left side of the page.
  4. Click the Create user button at the bottom of the User Manager screen.
  5. Fill in the required information to create the user.
  6. Under the Roles section, select Manager from the available box and then click the arrow button so it is displayed under the selected box.
  7. Once you have completed the remaining user setting, click Save at the bottom of the page.

Assign user groups to a manager:

  1. Log on to the BlackBerry® Pushcast Console using an administrator account.
  2. Click Administration on the menu bar at the top of the page.
  3. Click Users on the left side of the page.
  4. Type the last name of the user who will be assigned groups to manage, and then click Refresh List.
  5. Click on the user name from the list below to view the user's properties.
  6. Near the bottom of the page, click the button labeled Edit Groups.
  7. Under the Groups section, there will be a subsection labeled Can Manage. Select a group from the available list and move it to the selected list using arrow button.
  8. Once you have completed these steps, click Save.
