The IBM Lotus Sametime Enterprise Messenger is not removed when using a software configuration even if the disposition is set to disallowed.
This is a previously reported issue that is being investigated by our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.
Workaround 1
Manually delete the application from the BlackBerry smartphone.
Workaround 2
Contact BlackBerry Technical Support to be provided the Sametime IM Removal Tool. This tool allows administrators to remotely remove IBM Lotus Sametime Enterprise Messenger using the BlackBerry Enterprise Server via a software configuration, through the BlackBerry Browser or BlackBerry Desktop Software.
