Cause 1
The installation of BlackBerry Messenger did not complete.
Cause 2
When upgrading to the latest version of BlackBerry Messenger please ensure that the latest, legally approved version of BlackBerry Device Software provided by your wireless service provider is running on the BlackBerry smartphone. Please use the following chart to verify the minimum required version that is supported by BlackBerry Messenger:
|
BlackBerry Device Software Version |
Minimum Version of BlackBerry Device Software Required |
|
BlackBerry Device Software 4.5 to 4.7.1 |
4.5.0.85 Note: BBM 6 is not supported for the above software versions. |
| BlackBerry Device Software 5.0 | 5.0.0.262 |
| BlackBerry 6 | 6.0.0.75 |
| BlackBerry 7 |
7.0.0.241 |
