When attempting to retrieve the S/MIME .pfx certificate from an email message, the BlackBerry® smartphone user is prompted for the certificate password. After entering the certificate password, the BlackBerry smartphone user does not have the ability to import the certificate on to the BlackBerry smartphone.

This is a previously reported issue that is being investigated by our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.

CollapseWorkaround
Use the BlackBerry Desktop Software to return the BlackBerry Device Software to an earlier version, or if available upgrade the BlackBerry Device software on the BlackBerry smartphone.
