How to deploy BlackBerry Smart Card Reader drivers over the air using a software configuration

To deploy BlackBerry Smart Card Reader drivers over the air using a software configuration, complete the following steps:

1)      Download the latest drivers for the Smart Card from http://us.blackberry.com/ataglance/security/products/smartcardreader/drivers/

2)      Select the Smart card drivers bundle 26 deployment package (zip)

3)      Save the file within the software repository on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server

4)      Follow the instructions listed in KB18119 to create the appropriate alx file

5)    Complete the steps to build the software configuration as listed in KB03748

The installation methof for the JAD links on the drivers webpage is to be used using the BlackBerry Browser where the drivers will be installed directly onto the BlackBerry smartphone.
