Spell check does not provide suggestions for incorrectly spelled words on the BlackBerry PlayBook

When using a BlackBerry® Bridge application such as Messages, Contacts, Calendar, MemoPad or Tasks as well as the integrated Wi-Fi® Browser, a red line appears under a word that is spelled incorrectly but the spell check feature does not provide suggestions for the incorrectly spelled word.
This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated internally to our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.
