When trying to access the BlackBerry® Bridge™ application it may fail. The tablet may display a proxy error message, or the Bridge application it may simply open to a blank loading screen, fail to load content and exit after a short period of time (approximately 30 seconds but time might vary depending on the environment).
This issue occurs be because the PlayBook tablet is unable to use BlackBerry Bridge application if the Wi-Fi® connection is set up to use a proxy server (Use HTTP Proxy checked in the Wi-Fi Settings for the SSID).

1) Disable Wi-Fi when utilizing BlackBerry Bridge Application
2) Remove the proxy host from the Wi-Fi Profile
