Unable to attach a file using PlayBook web mail applications

When composing an email using the BlackBerry® PlayBook™ web mail applications such as Gmail®, Yahoo!®, or Windows Live™ Hotmail® there is no option to attach a file.

These specific websites currently do not support attaching files when composing an email on the BlackBerry PlayBook.

This is a previously reported issue that is being investigated by our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.
CollapseWorkaround

For Yahoo!® email accounts, compose an email using the http://www.yahoomail.com or http://login.yahoo.com website.

For Gmail® email accounts, access http://www.gmail.com from the browser and scroll to the very bottom of the message list on the left hand side. Change the Gmail® view to “Desktop” from “Mobile”.

Note: Users would need to save as a bookmark in order to continue to pull up the desktop view of gmail as opposed to the mobile view.
