- BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System 5.1
In BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System (MVS) 5.1, administrators are required to enter license keys for both the MVS server and BlackBerry MVS users during the installation or upgrade to MVS 5.1.
During the MVS 5.1 installation, there is a Licensing section on the License Agreement window which requires a Serial Number and Authentication Key to be entered. The administrator must enter the Serial Number and Authentication Key before continuing with the installation.
The Serial Number and Authentication Key are provided with the MVS 5.1 software upon purchase.
Once the MVS 5.1 installation is complete and the MVS Console is launched, a warning is displayed on the Dashboard which advises:
All of your organization’s BlackBerry MVS Client Access Licenses have expired or you do not have any BlackBerry MVS Client Access Licenses. Click here to view BlackBerry MVS Client Access Licenses.
Click on the link in the warning to display the Licensing page. The Licensing page is also accessible in System Configuration >Licensing.
The Licensing page displays a CAL summary which includes:
- Number of valid BlackBerry MVS user licenses
- Number of BlackBerry MVS user licenses in use
- Number of available BlackBerry MVS user licenses
MVS Client Access Licenses (CALs) can be purchased wherever you purchase BlackBerry Enterprise Server CALs.
Please see KB25039 for details.
The MVS Cals must be added to MVS 5.1 Server via a BlackBerry Administration Service console of a BlackBerry Enterprise Server associated with the BlackBerry MVS server.
